The post workout window is your best opportunity to kick start muscle growth. Research has shown that 0.4g/kg bodyweight (bw) of protein, together with 0.8g/kg bw of high glycemic carbs, like a mix of dextrose and maltodextrin, in water provides the very best post workout nutrition.
